David C. Hecht,

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BBA), David Hecht has been licensed to practice public accounting in Texas since 1982. He received his Masters degree (MBA) from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in December 2003. David was recognized as a "University Scholar" by UTA and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society. In 2008, David earned a Certificate in Financial Forensics (CFF) from the AICPA.

David's experience encompasses financial reporting and taxation, litigation consulting & support and financial planning for individuals and businesses. He has performed extensive work in the area of business valuations for marital dissolution, corporate status and alter ego matters, breach of contract, estate and gift tax considerations and buy-sell agreements.

David has been an active member of many professional and cultural organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of CPA's. He also served as Treasurer for over 20 years and is now the first vice-president and on the board of directors for a local non-profit. He has been actively involved in the Fort Worth Chapter and Texas Society of CPA's as an instructor for valuation engagements and is a former chairman of the Management Advisory Services Committee on Continuing Professional Education.

He recently earned the Ultimate Lease Accounting Masterclass Certification.
